Notwithstanding, Pakistan's Independence Day is commended on August 14 and India's on August 15, in light of the fact that in 1947 the services for the exchange of intensity were held multi-day sooner in Pakistan, with the goal that the last British Viceroy, Lord Mountbatten of Burma, could go to the functions in both Pakistan and India.
